| May 3rd, 2007. This infamous day, the May 3rd part, will live on forever in my life. Yeah, I got my license on May 3rd, so now this day will probably be on every license I ever get. If you keep up with the date, you'll realize that this date wasn't that far off (today is May 10th =P). But already, my car adventures have begun.
I should probably begin by saying this. My birthday is on April 12... not May 3rd. Why did I wait till May 3rd? Well you see, my car got into an accident, and was still being fixed... by my dad. So I had to wait till the THIRD of May to finally be able to take the road test. The main part here is, the car was in an accident quite recently, and my dad fixed her up for me. So, today was Game and Movie Night at our school, and when it was over, I was dropping a friend off. Everything's all fine and dandy like usual, when all of a sudden I start hearing/noticing this noise coming from the left front of the car. It sounded like something was being dragged along on the ground. My first thought was, holy crap is the bumper falling off?? (Yes, the bumper was replaced after the accident, by us...) But I figured it was nothing major and continued for a few more streets. But it started to bother me and so, seeing a fire station, turned into the lane right before it. [whew, good thinking].
I was pretty worried I would walk out to find my bumper half fallen off, dragging on the ground, and as a result, partially ground down/ melted away. Thankfully, that is not what I found. It was slightly better, if so can be said. It is at this point I refer you to this image (which i edited, for you clarification).
As the red arrow in that picture indicates, the part pointed to by the blue arrows and circled in red came down from under the bumper and tried to rest against the spinning wheel. As you may know, resting against a moving wheel is not the best thing to do. Almost half of that "part" is now part of Plainfield Ave (where I discovered this ... ).
So now I've found this and I'm like, "Oh Crap... What to do what to do"... when I figured, AH! Quick Ties!
So i walked over to the two firemen, I suppose, sitting in front of the fire house and asked them for some quick ties. I'm sure they felt sorry for me, seeing my car and all, and found me four quick ties, two black, and two white. Thank God for those firemen =]. So yea, then I got on the ground and ... after MUCH effort, managed to find locations on the "part" and the bumper where i could quick tie the two together. I don't know why, but there are these random holes in the bottom on the bumper, and to my utter jubilation, I found that the "part" had worn away against the tire and the ground that there were these holes in it... kinda like holes where quick ties could go!!
So I quick tied the "part" and the bumper together, hoping the quick ties would stay. I checked after I got home, and it seems to be working fine as of now. Who knows when it'll really get fixed. =P Maybe my dad will lemme take the Lexus out haha... I can only dream =].
So yes, my adventures with my car have already begun. =]

| I was actually looking forward to the end of the season till last week, but now idk... i want it to be "GAME DAY" again lol
we lost our first states game against David Brearly HS... we woulda done much better if we had Mykel. =(
So our final record? 11-9 overall and 9-3 in our division. Which isnt badd... lol especially considering the demographics and size of my school lol

its pretty good lol... we have a positive GD so its all good
I think i pulled a muscle in the uhh "upper medial posterior section of my thigh" aka sorta kinda inside of where my thigh joins my hip... and consequently.. i cant lift my right leg more than 1 foot and a half off the ground. its really annoying...
i dont think i have MUCH homework this week... just some stupid stuffs
i took the SATs today lol
my essay was good and easy so that was good... but the CR was kinda hard >.>
math was okay...
overall idk if ill get more than a 1950ish if that =/
uhh in other news... uhh we had a movie nite atschool lol... that was really fun =P
